Deputy Firefighter in Chelsea for 14 years. He is one of co-founder of Carter Park CrossFit. He is an avid fishermen and woodsmen. During his time off he loves to practice boxing and competes at an amateur level.

Jorge Monzon - Founder

Jorge played as a professional soccer level for the U20 national team in Guatemala soccer. 5 years ago was when he was introduced to CrossFit. But the most important thing I found in CrossFit is that now I have my daughter who does functional movements with me and seeing the big picture of CrossFit. It is not about hitting personal records, or finishing first. It is about being healthy and functional  for as long as possible to be there for my daughter. And now as co-owner and coach I see the big impact and a great tool CrossFit can change people’s lives.
